Best Pubs in London Bridge & Bermondsey: Thames-Side Drinking

London Bridge and Bermondsey have some of the best Thames-side pubs in London. Borough Market nearby keeps the crowds moving, but head one street back and you've got proper local boozers with river views and decent prices for SE1.

River Views & Atmosphere

The Anchor (Bankside)

Pint: £7.50-£8.20

Historic riverside pub. Balcony overlooking the Thames. Yes, it's touristy, but the back bar has proper locals. Sunday roasts are legitimately good.

The Mudlark (Bankside)

Pint: £6.80-£7.80

Newer but done right. Good beer list, food, outdoor seating with proper views. Less touristy than The Anchor but still busy.

Local Boozers

The Bell (Bermondsey)

Pint: £5.60-£6.40

Away from the tourist route. Proper South London pub. Cheaper than anywhere near the river. Good for a serious drink.

London Bridge prices are Central-adjacent. March 2026.
